Short bar ejection

The short bar ejection system is designed to separate bars that does not have the correct length in a sheet.

Operation

The magnet carrying trolley is addressed to the corresponding producing length. If the operator set the cut-to-length sheet to include short bars not corresponding to the correct length, the system will automatically lower the sheet onto the integrated roller table. The layer will then be aligned towards the integrated disappearing stop. The magnet will be lowered to collect the correct length bars, lifting them slightly, after which a pinching device will pinch the bar ends. The disappearing stop will be lowered, and the short bars will be transported out of the system and be placed in scrap/rework pockets. The remaining bars will be lifted, and the normal sheet transfer continues.
