SMB
Versions
SMB-EV
This version of the SMB can apply several radial strappings on the same coil and rotate automatically between the strap poisitions.
SMB-M
This machine can apply several circumferential strappings on the same coil and shift automatically between a number of lower strap guides.
SMB-E
This machine can apply radial strapping(s) on the same coil and with support of rollers the coil rotate between positions.

Strapping heads
SBHX5 – Up to 200% tighter straps against small bundles. Mechanical seal less notching – 80% of the tensile strenght of the steel strap. It has a long lifetime of wear parts, more than 80 000 cycles. It has a high tensile stretch force, up to 20 kN.
SBHXL5 -This strapping head gives a dimension of 50,8mm. The strap thickness is 1,10-1,30mm. Up to 40 000 kN high-force stretching.
SBHXS3 – A rebuilding kit for the well established Sund Birsta technology for steel strapping. Enables strapping with 19mm steel strap. Enables strapping on smaller bundles. It is adapted for retro-fit.

This strapping head gives a very tight strap against bundles for critical applications. 4 spot welding joint – up to 90% of the tensile strenght of the steel strap. Lifetime of wearparts. High tensile stretch force – up to 20 kN. It has a high feeding and stretching speed, up to 2,9m/s. Easy and safer adjustment via software/automation.
SBHLW
This is laser sealing technology.
This strapping head gives you the opportunity to switch to a
cheaper strap.
It minimizes maintenance and it is reducing material scrapping.
