While there, they met with Andrea Añón Suárez, Jose Luis Tortola, and Jeronimo Fernandez, who provided positive feedback on Sund Birsta’s products and support. Sund Birsta has relatively few references in the tube manufacturing plants, therefore it was very interesting and valuable to see the strapping performance on the various tube sections stacked in rectangular and hexagon patterns.
All machines are equipped with the proven X5 technology, which performs four seals in the pattern along with a centralized security seal – a patented solution that is popular among Sund Birsta customers worldwide.
The TUMESA Plant has been producing welded steel tubes for more than 35 years, with an actual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes. They supply tubes for mechanical and structural applications, open profiles, profiled sheets and steel strips.
