-Coil inspection system, A computer vision system with 3D cameras creates point clouds that are used to evaluate the coil shape and the wire/strap positions on the bundle before the tag is applied. With AI models trained through deep learning, the system is also capable of detecting potential errors after the tag has been applied to the product itself. It assures superior performance by enabling backup markings on all products once incorrect marking was detected. All data such as pictures and results are stored and can be kept for tracking purposes and quality assessments. The data collected refers to a unique serial number with date and time for traceability purposes. The stored data will also act like a “proof of delivery” all the way up to the unloading position of the production plant.
As an option the verification data data can be stored in an File/Database server as a quality assurance.
-3D scanning system, A camera/sensor system attached to the robot arm from which an advanced algorithm can define the most suitable positions to attach the tag. The fastest and most available position is chosen by the system.
-Tag applicator, within 2sec the applicator unit creates a wire loop that applies the tag to the product. In the specific application the tag is applied to the binding wire- or strap itself. The wire loop geometry itself is patented!
